Jitendra Gupta
Founder/CEO
Jitendra has over 13 years of experience developing and managing software products. He started his career as a software engineer in the EDA industry where he worked for Xilinx and Viewlogic Systems(acquired by Synopsys). In 2000, after his MBA, Jitendra joined Siebel systems as a Product Manager for Siebel web platform - the platform used for all Siebel applications. Jitendra left Siebel in April 2005, to join InQuira, a search company, as Director of Product Management. At InQuira, he managed the company's flagship search product. In his role, Jitendra set the course of product development and participated in closing a number of sizable deals.
Jitendra obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago in 2000 and his B.Tech in EE from IIT Kanpur, India in 1993. At Chicago, he launched and marketed chibus.com, the on-line edition of university of Chicago GSB school paper. Jitendra has been writing his blog for over a year at the company blog and occasionally contributes to ReadWriteWeb blog.
Tedd Corman
Co-Founder/VP Business Development
Tedd has over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry. He began his career as a hardware designer at ITT. He switched to EDA field where he worked as VP of Technology for Viewlogic Systems(acquired by Synopsys). Tedd moved to the west coast and founded WebAppoint, a venture-backed, internet-based scheduling and appointment service for businesses, which was later acquired by Microsoft. In 2002, Tedd became the CEO of GetFit.com, an internet based consumer service for health and fitness. More recently Tedd has been active as a consultant and board member to several high-tech startups. Tedd is a member of the Technical Advisory Board of Carbon Design Systems Inc. and sits on the Board of Jovis Technologies and New College of California.
Tedd obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has completed course work toward a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He writes frequently at the company blog. You can reach him via e-mail at tedd at sezwho dot com.
